Catholic universities help Yogyakarta quake victims

Quake Fund Gets More Donations

The Yogyakarta Earthquake humanitarian fund received two contributions totaling $3,000 from two Brunei local ladies associations at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Quake-hit farmers to get FAO assistance

The United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organization has provided US$300,000 in aid to farmers affected by the powerful May 27 earthquake that hit Yogyakarta and parts of Central Java.

Aftershock rattles Yogyakarta

An aftershock measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale jolted Yogyakarta city and neighboring quake-devastated Bantul district for 36 seconds on Wednesday.
