Prince Diponegoro Monument museum
This museum was the former home of Prince Diponegoro, a noble from Ngayogyokarto Hadiningrat was bravely opposed the Dutch colonials at 1825 – 1830. The building is still resembles a traditional Javanese atmosphere. The interior has been restored, exhibit many kinds of weapons, as well as Diponegoro’s former items including his family and his faithful followers items. The museum is located at the north-west side of the city, in Jl. HOS Cokroaminoto.
